Three ways your data walks out the door.
Sudeep recreates the three vectors he sees most often in 2026 — on a real test laptop, with a real Data Leakage Protection stack. Each attempt is blocked, logged, and explained in plain English.
“I’ll just email myself the client list.”
Watch the system flag a sales manager attaching the Q2 pricing sheet to her personal Gmail. Blocked at send. Logged with timestamp, file, attempt count.
The “invisible” pen-drive.
OS-level block. No drag, no copy, no workaround. Admin alert fires within 30 seconds.
The CAD file in a personal WhatsApp.
Designer screenshots the new product CAD, sends it to a personal WhatsApp no. “for a quick second opinion.” The phone leaves the building — the drawing keeps travelling for years.
- A printable 1-page exit-protocol checklist
- A 3-line AI-use policy your team will actually read
- A vendor-agnostic Data Leakage Protection shortlist with rupee numbers
- The recording, no email-wall
Three kinds of owners we keep meeting.
“I know we’re exposed. I just don’t know where to start.”
10–200 employees. CAD files, batch formulations, supplier rates. One IT vendor on AMC.
“The owner asked me about Data Leakage Protection. I said yes. Now what?”
Solo IT manager (or admin doing IT). Already running antivirus and Microsoft 365. Wants a 30-day plan, not a framework.
“Dad built this. AI didn’t exist. I have to figure it out.”
Second-generation operator. Newly responsible for digital risk and modernisation across the family business.

A practitioner’s read on Data Leakage risk.
Sudeep and his team at Sirius Star Enterprise Technologies have done 200+ Data Leakage Protection setups at industrial SMBs across Maharashtra and Gujarat. He runs Sirius Star Enterprise Technologies, Navi Mumbai.
This webinar is delivered under his personal practice — just shares, no vendor pitch, no hidden upsell. He’ll also showcase live demos from a few OEMs leading the way in Data Leakage Protection.
Exactly what you’ll learn on May 14th
Practical, specific, India-focused. No fluff. No vendor pitch.
- 01The ₹4.3 Cr Breach — Full Case StudyMinutes 0 – 12
Hour-by-hour reconstruction of how a 40-employee Mumbai firm lost ₹4.3 crores in 90 days from one forwarded file. What happened, what they missed, what would have saved them.
- 02Live Demo: How Do We Prevent Data LeakagesMinutes 12 – 28
Pre-recorded screen-share demo. Three leak attempts — external email, USB transfer, and Web.WhatsApp (the biggest culprit) — detected and blocked in real time. Real software, real data, no slides.
- 03The 3 Non-Technical Controls (That Prevent 80% of Leaks)Minutes 28 – 42
You don’t need expensive software to start. Three process-based controls — implementable in under a week each — that catch the majority of accidental SMB Data Leaks. Specific steps, templates included.
- 04DPDP Act: The 4 Deadlines That Apply to SMBsMinutes 42 – 52
Cut through the legal jargon. Exactly which DPDP Act requirements apply to businesses with 10–200 employees, which deadlines are enforced now vs coming, and a 30-day readiness checklist.
- 05Buyer’s Checklist + Live Q&AMinutes 52 – 60
The 12-question checklist Sudeep uses to evaluate Leakage Protection tools for industrial SMBs. Red flags to avoid. Then we open mics — bring your hardest questions.
Things owners ask before signing up.
Is this really free? What’s the catch?
Completely free. No credit card. The “catch” is that at the end Sudeep offers an optional 30-min 1:1 data-risk assessment for anyone who wants it. The 60-min session itself is pure value — no upsell during it.
I’ve looked at Data Leakage Protection software — it’s expensive and we have no IT to set it up. Is this realistic for an MSME?
You’re right — most enterprise Leakage Protection tools are built for 1000+ employee organisations with a security team. They’re expensive to license, harder to configure and need someone in-house to maintain. Sirius Star is built differently: a managed Data Leakage Protection subscription where we configure it for your designs, customer data and finance, monitor it daily, and tune it as your team changes. You don’t hire anyone new. We run it. The masterclass shows you the 3 controls regardless of which tool you use — even if you never become our client.
Does the DPDP Act actually apply to my MSME?
Yes. There is no automatic small-business exemption today. Any business processing personal data of Indian citizens is a Data Fiduciary with obligations. Section 17(5) does empower the central government to notify class exemptions — but none have been issued for MSMEs at the time of this page. We cover the substantive deadlines and the 5 things to do this quarter.
Why only 100 seats?
Because Q&A is the most valuable 8 minutes of the session — and Q&A only works at this size. Larger webinars become broadcasts. We want this to stay interactive enough that your specific question gets a specific answer.
I can’t attend live — should I still register?
Yes. Everyone registered receives the recording, the DPDP one-pager, the 30-day roadmap, the employee offboarding checklist and the vendor evaluation scorecard — within 24 hours, whether you attend live or not. Registration is the only way to receive these.
Is this too technical? I’m not from IT.
Built for non-technical MSME founders. Every term is explained in business language. The 3 main controls are process-based — who has access to what, how files leave the building, how you spot it — not deep technical configuration.
100 seats. 1 webinar.
One straight conversation about Data Leaks.
No countdown gimmick. When seats run out, registration closes. The recording goes to anyone who registered — live or not.
