We are not on Microsoft 365 yet. Does Intune still make sense?
Intune has a hard dependency on Microsoft Entra ID for identity and conditional access, so a business not already on Microsoft 365 or Entra faces extra setup before Intune delivers full value. If you are evaluating MDM on its own, that setup cost belongs in your decision, not just the per-user licence price.
Is Microsoft Intune only for Windows laptops?
