Refurbished Business Laptops India
Grade-A refurbished laptops pulled from enterprise rollouts, professionally restored, and shipped with a 12-month warranty. Save Rs 15,000 to Rs 30,000 per seat without the lottery of marketplace listings.

TL;DR
- Refurbished Grade-A laptops from enterprise pulls. HP EliteBook, Lenovo ThinkPad, Dell Latitude, MacBook Pro.
- Tested, restored, warrantied for 12 months. Same image and MDM enrolment as a new laptop.
- Typical saving Rs 15,000 to Rs 30,000 per laptop vs new equivalent.
- Best fit: startups, NGOs, training labs, shift workers, secondary-fleet workloads.
The stake
Grade-A refurbished business laptops are typically 30 to 50 percent off original MRP. Volume orders compound the saving.
A new HP EliteBook 840 G11 with i7, 16GB, 512GB lands in India around Rs 95,000. The same model in Grade-A refurbished, 12 to 18 months old, lands around Rs 60,000 with a 12-month warranty from us. The work it does on day one is identical.
What Grade-A refurbished actually means
Grade A is the cleanest tier in the refurb industry. No screen scratches visible at arm’s length. No keyboard wear. Battery health above 85 percent. Full functional test. Original OEM charger. New OS install.
The supply comes from enterprise refresh cycles. Big banks and IT services firms cycle their laptop fleets every 36 months. The hardware is still in great shape. It just falls off their depreciation schedule. We buy, test, restore, and resell with warranty.
This is not the same as a marketplace listing from an unknown seller. There is a chain of custody. There is a test sheet per laptop. There is a warranty number you can call.
Who should buy refurbished and who should not
Refurbished works brilliantly for secondary fleets. Training labs that take a beating. Shift workers who share a desk. Startups in seed stage who need 20 laptops in two weeks. NGOs running on grant budgets. Sales floor laptops where the device life is short anyway.
Refurbished works less well for power users who need the very latest chip. A creative team running Premiere Pro on M4 MacBook Pros should buy new. A finance team running Excel and Teams should buy refurbished and keep the savings.
The honest test: if your user opens fewer than 30 browser tabs and never touches video editing, refurbished is the right answer.

What we test before shipping
Every laptop goes through a 28-point test. Screen for dead pixels and backlight bleed. Keyboard for every key registering. Trackpad for accuracy. All ports for connectivity. Wi-Fi 6 throughput against a reference router. Battery cycle count and health percentage. RAM and SSD with manufacturer tools. Speaker, mic, camera. Hinge for tightness.
Any laptop that fails any point gets a part swap or goes to the next grade tier. Grade A means all 28 points pass on the first run.
Warranty and what happens if it fails
12 months on the laptop, 6 months on the battery. Pan-India pickup-drop through our service network. For MacBooks we use OneAssist across 19,000+ pincodes for the battery and adapter. For Windows laptops we use OEM-authorised service centres for parts and our own logistics for transport.
If a unit fails inside 30 days we replace, not repair. After 30 days we repair within 7 working days or replace if parts are out of stock.

Sources we trust
The numbers and frameworks on this page come from primary sources you can verify.
- Gartner research on refurbished IT estimates 30 to 50 percent secondary-market savings on enterprise hardware.
- HP commercial warranty policies cover parts and labour across most enterprise SKUs.
- CPCB E-Waste rules apply to the units we cannot refurbish to Grade A.

Where the refurbished inventory comes from
Three sources. First, large enterprise refresh cycles. Indian BFSI, IT services, and pharma run on 36-month laptop cycles. We have buy contracts with several of them. The hardware comes off lease with a complete service history, low calendar hours, and known operating conditions.
Second, DaaS contract returns. When our own DaaS contracts complete their term, the laptops come back to us, get fully restored, and re-enter the refurbished inventory. We know exactly how those laptops were used because we set the MDM policy.
Third, international Grade A imports. Apple in particular has a global secondary market. We import MacBook Air and MacBook Pro stock from Singapore and Dubai authorised distributors. These come with original Apple boxes and unactivated AppleCare windows where applicable.
We do not source from local marketplaces or unknown sellers. Provenance is the difference between a refurbished laptop and a punt.
Frequently asked questions
How old are these laptops?
Most are 12 to 24 months from manufacture. We mark the age band on the quote so you can decide. Anything older than 30 months we put in Grade B or below.
Can we get the same image and MDM as new laptops?
Yes. The image, AV, and MDM enrolment are identical to a new laptop. Microsoft Intune, Jamf, SureMDM, SOTI, Samsung Knox enrolment all work normally.
What about parts availability in year two?
HP, Lenovo, Dell all carry parts for 5 to 7 years post-launch. The models we refurbish are well inside that window. MacBook parts get tighter past year 4 because Apple controls the chain.
Is the warranty from OEM or from Sirius Star?
From Sirius Star. We hold parts inventory and service contracts with authorised partners. The warranty card you receive has our number on it. We answer.
Can we mix new and refurbished in one DaaS contract?
Yes. Common pattern: senior team on new MacBook Air M3, ops team on refurbished EliteBook, training lab on refurbished ThinkPad. One invoice, one MDM tenant, one warranty contact.

P.S. A Bengaluru ed-tech startup ordered 80 refurbished EliteBooks last quarter. They saved a significant share of the new-build budget and reinvested it in runway. They reinvested it in three Microsoft Surface Pros for the founding team and the rest into a 6-month runway extension. Their CFO sent us a thank-you note. We have it pinned to the office wall.
