Ricoh acquired the Fujitsu PFU document scanner business in 2022. The fi-series, ScanSnap, and SP-1130 product lines continue under the PFU brand, now a Ricoh subsidiary. The India service and distribution network operates through Ricoh-owned PFU partners. The Fujitsu brand remains on the chassis for now.
What is the difference between Fujitsu fi-series and ScanSnap?
fi-series is the production and departmental scanner line for BFSI, insurance, and government back-offices. It uses PaperStream Capture software with TWAIN and ISIS drivers for enterprise document workflows. ScanSnap is the desktop and wireless line for CA practices, lawyers, doctors, and small offices. It uses ScanSnap Home software with cloud destinations.
Can Fujitsu scanners output to SharePoint and OneDrive?
